Have you heard the saying that we make time for what’s important? While I know it’s not always that simple, it really does come down to making a decision to commit and then finding a way to make it happen with the time you have.

I encourage you to set aside a consistent block of time so that you are able to focus on the powerful steps in this course to afford you more freedom in the future. Make that commitment (aka promise) to YOURSELF and don’t break it.

I suggest you schedule time in your calendar to work on this course and the action steps. What’s your weekly goal to complete the course? Is it 1 module per week? 2 lessons per week? Or do you want to set aside a few hours each week? Write it down, schedule it into your calendar, and commit to it.

The work in many lessons is designed to be completed in 1-2 hours (or even less) but a few lessons will require more time. And, don’t feel pressured to speed through the lessons. Work at your own pace but just be sure you don't stop. Taking deliberate (and sometimes imperfect) action is the best way to go.

Your goal is to reach for high quality, not perfection. We creatives tend to want to make everything perfect. If you feel yourself getting stuck or overthinking a lesson, give yourself a time limit and get a rough draft or plan sketched out. You can refine it later. The key is to take action and that’s when clarity and progress happen.
